I’ve done many things in a career but ‘you do the things in life you have to until you can do the things you want to’. I found it, this is what I want to do.
I was the EMT Lead Skills, BLS, CPR and First Aid Instructor at DEFIB THIS for many years until their closure in 2024.
I had the ultimate experience there teaching over 750 EMT students and well over a thousand healthcare professionals, student and recent graduate nurses, lifeguards, police departments, substance recovery centers as well as the general public.
Working and teaching alongside some of the most experienced and brilliant Paramedics, Emergency Department Nurses and Flight Medics helped me shape a way to make complex situations understandable.
I’m still currently active as an EMT providing medical response and support for Bay Area sporting, concert and festival events such as Levi’s Stadium and Shoreline Amphitheater, Stanford Frost as well as community events around the Santa Cruz area
